1st Anniversary!

I wonder how many of us still reads this blog? really really sorry i havent been doing my part in updating! but whatever the case is... SECC OCK is officially 1 year old!
Thanks OCK for igniting my only passion in sheares hall. i took over the organising for this year's SECC, at least from the campers' feedback, it was a blast! this year's theme was

my time on day 3 (SECC 06/07)
wanted to take pics badly the whole day. But I waited until it was so late coz everyone is pretty busy the whole day. haha. Darn, the resolution is very bad coz not enough light. Dun mind arh..try to adjust the angle of your laptop screen if not clear.. heeeee... Today is SP night. It was surely fun watching the freshies do the same things as we did last yr. hahahaha..
Anyway tonight's talent time show dun have anything which is as good as our item last year right? hahaha.. I miss US.

OCK AGAIN
Today Most of OCK members went back to SECC~ hee.. me and mei chin, tat and jun sheng. xtina too of coz~ she is the president this yr~ poor girl.. I can imagine how much stress you are under. shawn isn't ard coz she is not in singapore. our OGLs only Janice is there. waylon, fangxi and mark not ard...
Anyway I think this yr's competition between groups not as intensive as last yr when we really divide into diff blocks. OGLs are super enthu in safeguarding each block's reputation.. or something like that.. i think u know what I mean. This yr most of the OGLs are like from Blk C, no? heee..
alright i just realised we nv took a group photo today.. darn.. I shall post a photo me and MC take while watching bird show just now den.. hee..
For those who have seen me today. I know. I have grown so much fatter. Been eating too much.. opps.. some more keep standing beside Meichin.. haha..look even more like a giant.. my aim is to slim down before sch starts.. kanbatte...

happy birthday to me
hmm.. it was past 12.. and i was pretty tired.. i wonder wad xtina and shawn had in store for me.. so i force my eyes open~ and it was nonetheless a wonderful surprise~
waylon and ian had creeped into my room while i went up to shawn's room to watch some videos.. so when they went down to well "take some bake beans" from mei chin.. rather weird la.. y wld a whole grp go down eat bake beans rite.. so i KNOW someting was up..
I was standing outside my room, den i heard music blasting from my room.. hmmm.. i dun dare to open the door.. scared something pops out from inside and scare the hell out of me.. well~ hmm.. den i opened the door.. guess wad i saw? well~ too bad i wasn't able to take down the pics.. but try to imagine...
a room lit up with candles.. that spells out the number "19"... a few clear crystal tea lights holders, 1 red tea light holder and 1 white tea light holder was ard the room.. very romantic~ haha.. i like the setting~ seriously~ i am very touched by wad u all did.. u all really know me well~ i feel so at home with the atmosphere.. if not for the heat, i wld not wanna blow away the candles.. there is also a special cake bought by my beloved and one and only meichin~ tooo bad she has to slp early~ hmmm... this is the 1st bday we nv celeb together... alone.. weird.. gd old days r gone mayb... OH! there is also this green jacket~ which is super cute!!! got a panda at the back.. reminds me of the MTM advetisement abt the panda eyes.. haha.. i really LOVE it.. just wad i need.. a jacket.. haha janice is rite.. i got too many "inappropriate" clothings.. i sld get more cute stuff into my closet.. hahaha...
i do not have any wish i had in mind when i blew out the last candle, coz i had everything i wanted.. den something pops up in my head... i just wish tt every one in the world is happy.. =) ambitious? well~ but i really hope tt there will no longer b sufferings in the world.
all in all~ thx christina, shawn, janice, waylon, ian.. u all made my 1st bday in hall a very 贴心 (heart warming?) one... =) love ya guys~
oh ya~ david got as many ppl as he cld to sign a piece of paper-card for me full of wishes... so sweet of him.. beloved level head.. hahaha... thx for the effort~ really very touched tt ppl actually bothers to sign something for me.. realised tt i had made many frens since i came into sheares hall BLK C.. its realli very very very 感动 (touched) moment..

wah~ so long nv blog to s here le.. numerous reasons la..
1) veri tired!!!!
2) bad stamina.. always tend doze off easily now adays.. i wonder y... haha
3) getting fatter (laziness ba)
4) stupid term test week has gave me humongous pimples..
man.. think i need to get my butt off and start jogging or swimming le...
just finished audition with cdrama today.... wonder how it goes... they ask alot of stupid qn.. haha.. which i prefer not to reveal here... too explicit...
some updates of sheares events happening to me these days:
1) buaya week~ haha i got fu lin as my buaya.. stupid guy nv do much for me.. must b too busy wif his gf la.. but well wad the hack.. at least i got a shuai buaya.. haha...
i did a lot of my buayee~ haha.. quite fun.. but it feels like shit when u do alot for ppl and ppl dun do much for u.. these kinda things happen alot in my life la.. so its ok~ but it SUCKS.. mayb tts y i am rather wierd these days being quiet and all.. weird me.. i haf nv feel so LOW in my life b4...
2) mid autumn fest... i missed it.. so nothing to say..
3) auditionings... went for Sheares Production , Drama Group and Short film... might b going for Cast manager for short film if i am too busy with the other productions..
mayb one of the reasons y i am not tt much involve in hall stuff lately bcoz i am rather busy outside hall wif TS Soc... we just had a play Hungry... i was doing back stage.. damn tired... always haf to come back late.. den i also got Chi Dama where i need to go and attend lessons on sets design, lights design, sound design, props design, directing, acting.. going to haf make-up and costumes lesson next week.... busy busy..
okies... think i haf put up a lil of my part to beautify the blog~

happy birthday...
ock! thank you thank you all so much for all that you have done for me this very special day....
my galfriends frm jc arranged a teppanyaki session with a surprise bdae party for me at PGP so i only came back so late... im really really sorry! :)
so far uni life is full of ups and downs... mostly downs, but when the ups come, its definitely worth the downs. this is one such up :)
im truely touched (and i find myself crying very easily these days) for the plan... hahaha...
and even got nicholas to come!
and got waylon ponded AGAIN!
and drew for me such a beautiful work of art!
most importantly... showered me with so much love :)

oh yeah!!!! sheares rox!!!! dancers we all work hard!!! I realli duno wad to say.. but i am really happy!!! heee... i saw tears of joy today.. i know our hardwork has been rewarded~ it has really been a great time dancing wif u guys~ i love you!!! thank you for being through all the bruises, cracks and pain wif me.. not to forget times when we were reallly tired we still push each other to go on~

bushed?
i know everyone's really very tired and sore from rag dance right? hahaha *pat everyone's back* i saw cindy just now! she looked really tired... wanted to give her a hug but then theres dance... i tink i might be joining dance as jester afterall! yipee! :) i tink!
anyways... hahaha i know i wasnt at SWOC! got me drama rehearsal! i also went down to TCS to take up a calafair (how do you spell that anyways?!?!) part in a new channel8 drama! i think tat and aaron know abt it heehee. its called MISSING 20. although it wasn't my first time in there, its been quite long! here's my brief account!
stars i met: jacelyn tay, fiona xie (yay!) ann kok(*shakes head*), apple hong, tony su (DreamzFM) thomas ong, mi xue and nancy sit= xue jia yan (the hk actresses), kym ng, zhu hou ren, mark lee. they all have a minder behind them (those you watch on star awards where they say "wo yao xie xie dawn, jay, eddie, blahblahblah) yah thats them.
the more interesting part was me and my friend's part in the show. we went to the studio to shoot the scenes. we are supposed to be reporters) and we were supposed to interview 2 CIDs... they were huang biren and rayson tan (chen liping's hubby). huang biren wasn't friendly!!! but chen tai ming was quite nice to us extras! he even stayed back after his scene to guide us but got chased away by his minder *rolls eyes* me and my friend got a few lines to say, and yep! we did earn some buckeroos! but i havent received yet! :(
going to TCS showed me things i didnt notice before. the superficiality of people there. the wardrobe people really couldnt care less about us, and they had the sian 3/4 look on their faces, they even deliberately made us wait for them to get our clothes while they did other chores. when nancy sit walked past (she had 4 minders!!) the wardrobe woman BOWED and said sweetly "HAO YI!" wah lauuuuuu.... win liao loh.
HAHA one more thing to add. the director was FIERCE!!! she kept screaming "WHERE ARE THE LIGHTS? WHERE ARE THE PEOPLE! I DON'T WANT THIS! DIDN'T I TELL YOU TO DO THIS BEFORE HAND??? F**K YOU! F**K YOU!!!!!"
if she was walking along the streets, people would have thought she's a nice simple auntie buying groceries for dinner.
well but it was an enriching experience! hahaha... quite fun actually. i think our pay wasn't for our lines, but for the tolerance we gave for the people there who treated us like nobody (which is true, BUT STILL.) so yeps haha... i'll think twice before i decide to be involved in the entertainment industry!

yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! finally a rest day from rag... today is seniors' presentation and i think we realli did very well~ though i dun realli appreciate the seniors not smiling during the dance.. i tot our dance was very cute.. no element of surprise meh? bloody....

hey pple... me juz break camp yest... miss ya all! -muackZ muackZ- medicine camp was qt fun, thou e ppl there qt quiet... i seem to be e only one who's contributing to noise pollution by yakking incessantly... lol. throughout e whole camp, me was tinking of OCK n sheares rag... den couldnt stop telling my grp ppl how much fun i had during Sheares Exposure Camp... like wad xtina said, appreciate ya all n all e team spirit we haf!
but still hafta give credits to my medfac seniors larz, they put in lots of efforts in organising e camp... but tink they qt disappointed when we were actually walking (when most ppl will chiong)during water bomb games. 3 cheers for ya! my OG started opening up during e 2nd night, played tis R-O-C-K game... remind me to intro ya all tis game next time, qt addictive! heeZ...

saving all my love for you all~
hi ock! as you all know (maybe except meichin) im back from archi camp... totally sucks. the only thing that kept me going is knowing that all of you are in close proximity.
ive realised from the archi camp that ock are the nicest, bestest and greatest friends i have in nus, and in the coming years, my late nights and stress will definitely be spent in sheares with all of you.
the archi camp has also taught me to appreciate and love every one of you better. previously from SEC ive taken all of you for granted, thinking that everywhere i go in nus with my ability to socialise i would be able to make great friends. i feel very guilty thinking about it now.
i told tat and waylon that in ock i have respect for everyone. i see and admire the abilities, knowledge and everything else that each of you have, and the best thing is i feel the mutual understanding and respect from each of you, and ive never appreciated that till now... sigh.
yes this post seem so solemn and serious... but i really want and need to tell you all how important you all are to me. im really and truely blessed to know you all.

2020hrs: the rest talks and jokes on till curry puff corny pie and shawn joins us

2130++hrs: more or less finished... we present to meichin her birthday cake, shirt and card!

juz a recape for those who didnt come... me went dhoby ghaut mrt coz i thot tt there's pool at 3pm. den ended up only me n corn pie, carrot cake lor... sae will be late, but me didnt noe his 'late' meant nearly 4 hrs ltr... lol. haha, juz wanna make carrot cake feel guilty only by tyoing out tis part (for fun n laughter, peace n joy!?!) so me n corn pie ended up gg shopping instead...
den we went fish n co at e glasshse.. cindy n darius went to buy icecream cake secretly n we celebrated my bdae after our dinner!!! oso got a t-shirt which read 'kiss e bdae gal'!!! =) haha... thanks so much, tt's really sweet of u all! muacks! in addition, i also had a rather -ahem- exhausting time trying to blow out e candles, which kept on relighting... haha... good excerise for my cheek muscles. yuppie, it's captured on corn pie's camera. but cant use it to blackmail me arhz!
after tt, all 9 of us strolled to clarke quay there... v cool weather, relishing e gentle caress of the breeze. spore night scene not bad lar... saw e G-max reverse bungee.. 30bucks per person lar, super ex. tink u gimme 100bucks i wont consider trying. haha.. coz me dun wanna contribute to noise pollution wif all my screaming. hee...

anyways, yesterday i finally finally FINALLY went down to check out rag dance~ hahaha hey ock rocks man~ with the practise and training... as well as the inevitable tat and js gay stunt. whoops.
rag production is really amazingly unbelievable. toad (to my honour and horror) bestowed upon me the task of figuring out the prototype of part of the float. im really really sad and sorry ive failed... :( but i wanna do it right. pls gimme another chance toad~ :)
anyways im quitting my stupid stupid STUPPIIDDD job on 15th! den i can come down and help~~ can i still clock up the hours to accumulate points? anyone knows pls tell me hahaha thanks alot alot~~

hey pple... me was slping when sth suddenly popped into my mind... *gRinZ*
that is: next time on one of our outings, let's try 'potluck-ing'!!! tried it e first time during my j1 orientation. durin' dinner time, my seniors brought us to suntec carrefour n told us to each spend not more than 3bucks on anythings tt we deemed were appropriate to eat n share as a grp... den we were given 10 mins to buy any food n stuff before meeting up in e skytower in one of e suntec towers... was really fun lor, as we sat on e floor n shared e stuff we bought while playing silly games (exothermic rxn, anyone???)..
oh yah, regarding e food hor... guess wad me sotong-brain gal bought!~!~! me used it to buy 6 sushi rolls!!! super diaoZ rite! esp when e whole grp was abt 12 ppl! haha... almost got hammered by them lor...
let's try it e next time lehz... yup, me learnt my lesson... wont buy sushi again *promise to buy sth more substantial* LOL~~~
